Hi!
I didn't see a topic for UTMB Spring 2025. How is everyone's application process going?
I submitted my application May 28 and I didn't submit my supplement application until July 1st. I still haven't heard back, not sure what order they are doing things in. My stats are competitive so I think I have a good chance but you never know with these things. Just trying to be patient right now.
I will be staying in surrounding areas if I do get accepted, sometimes being on the island scares me because the weather does get bad, but the good thing about being on the island is that you are so close.

Congratulations!! I'm 45 minutes away from the island, I'm in the Pearland area and was hoping if anyone was interested in carpooling. If not, no worries! It's only 16 months, so I know it'll fly by.

I didn't submit until later on too. I've heard they rely heavier on the personal statement. I'm sure you'll get in!
yes, there are definitely pros and cons to both. thank you and best of luck!!

congratulations to you as well! I'll definitely be looking for apartments in the surrounding area, so I'll be sure to let you know where I will end up at.
Hi everyone, I'm so glad I found people who were also accepted! I got accepted last Monday and I was not expecting to know so soon and I didn't expect to get accepted. My stats were 81.3 overall TEAS score, 4.0 science GPA, and 3.88 overall GPA. Congratulations to everyone who is already accepted and I hope everyone else gets accepted as well!

congrats!! I will most likely be staying on the island since I live in the Pearland area about 1 hr away from the school. I'm not quite sure when to start looking for roommates or apartments so if anyone has any advice or is interested lmk!!

Hello! Congratulations to all who have been accepted into the program! I found out UTMB extended their application due date to August 15th so I am in the process of getting my transcripts sent over! My stats are not too high so I will be shooting for Fall 2025 if I don't get in for this semester so that I will have time to retake my TEAS and improve my GPA! I also do not have all pre-requisites completed (52/60) so I will keep y'all updated in case there's someone in the future in a similar situation! Please give me any tips you have (especially about the personal statement)!
My TEAS score: 78% (under 70% for science but high A's on 2 sections)
Science GPA: 3.4
Overall GPA: 3.3 (recalculating tmr should be higher)
Hi guys any new acceptances?
my application status is still showing complete which I guess is an okay sign. I also called the school recently and inquired about when we should hear back. She acknowledged that some people have been accepted but since application got pushed to August 15th, we should expect to see more acceptances sent out by that new deadline. (She also mentioned that hurricane beryll has slowed down the decision process since there was flooding).
It's been so difficult waiting for an email, especially when the deadline keeps getting pushed. Hopefully no more changes occur.
