Hi!! I started this forum for those applying to The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) for the Fall 2025 Traditional BSN program. I couldn't find any previous forums for the 2025 start term, so hopefully we can all connect here.

Hi Matt,

I also applied for the fall 2025 program.

Have you heard anything about acceptance yet?

HelloI Karla,

No, I haven't heard anything about acceptance yet. Still waiting. Everything I hear says 4 to 6 weeks.

I have too, I have a friend who applied for the ABSN and she heard back at the 6 week mark, our 6 week is during Spring break... im wondering if they'll send it out before or after... I hope it's before.

hey everyone, is there anyone who minds sharing their stats.

@Karla: I was reading through the thread from last year and everyone started getting their acceptances in April, I think around April 11. It may turn out to be the same for us.

@Jazmine: what stats are you referring to?

@Matt, yes! I called UT and they def said they will be sending out acceptance at the end of March and first week of April... im nervous!

That's awesome. 🤞 that we will get in. I read somewhere that the acceptance rate is around 80%.

Hi everyone! Has anyone heard any updates yet?

@Pris not yet! Hopefully we start hearing back starting Monday! 🙏

@Priskarla called a few weeks ago and they told her it would be the end of March, and the first week of April. So, should be soon. Good luck to everyone. 🤞

Would y'all mind sharing yours stats? Such as TEAS score & GPA?

I have low confidence that I'll get accepted with a 70% TEAS & a GPA of 3.8. Although I do have shadowing hours too. I feel like it won't help as much🙃
