Just submitted my application so I thought I should start the thread!! Does anyone know the expected date admission decisions come out, this is my top school but I would have to move to a different city so im hoping its fast.

Hi!! I just realized we had a discussion forum going on for this term. As far as admission decisions go, we're probably looking at around Feb-March???

hi yall! I called them and asked if we could be given a deadline of sorts but they explained that they are not telling applicants a particular date. the only information I was given was that there are four people reviewing applications at this time.

Do you know if they are doing the process differently this year? Like for example the imbedded interview questions that we had to complete in order to submit the application; I was under the impression that they send interview invitations after reviewing our applications

yeah I saw from previous years they had the interview separate but im guessing this year they imbedded the interview for a faster review of the applications. I was thinking since they imbedded the interview, we would hear back about decisions sooner, but im also not sure

Hi everyone! had been looking for this thread, glad I finally found it!

So I had been in communication with an admissions advisor (who no longer works there, bummer) for a good portion of last semester and she mentioned to me they'd be sending out admission emails during late jan/early feb... the video interview is supposed to help them with selection process, we'll see!

Also, did you all know we have 1 week to give them our decision wether we accept or turn down the offer? that makes me a little nervous tbh ?

Yeah I was wondering if we could change the title to 'ABSN' bcs it took a while for me to find this, but it should be fine haha.

Late Jan / Early Feb is crazy fast if that's the case! I do wonder how many people applied to this program. Also I had no clue about the 1-week action to decide?

Hadn't noticed the title was ASBN LOL

So yes, those were the approximates I was mentioned but as we all know that can change or be pushed back a little. They want to have some time between acceptance letters and actually starting date (May 13) to do background checks, drug screenings, registrations, etc - 3 months is nothing, time will FLY!

Spoke to them yesterday very briefly and snuck in a quick question... they are sending out 120 invites to the program this year ? - not sure out of how many tho

Does anyone know somebody who's gone through this ABSN already? Was it terrifyingly difficult? Am I shooting myself on the foot trying to pursue this accelerated program..

im thinking theres probably around 280 people applying based on the statistics from previous years that they have up on their website.

I know someone who went through their program and they said its pretty intense at times but everyone typically helps each other out, especially your clinical groups. I'm kinda anxious about the pace but I'm sure having others to lean on will probably help!!

280 is a good amount of people!

And yes, helping each other will definitely be the only way to get through a program like this

Just chatted with a current student who was a peer mentor and now is a personal tutor! (no idea how she can juggle all that even with a TBSN??)

That means there is good options for support when struggling

oooh thats good to know!! that definitely helps my anxiety about the program LOL

hopefully we'll hear back this week about admissions decisions!!

Same, I hope!! If y'all receive a notif about admissions, lmk please! :')
