I am making a thread for people who plan to apply to UTHSCSA BSN to DNP Nurse Anesthesia program starting in Fall 2025!

I would love to share program information, past application/interview experiences, questions as we apply, and any other thoughts!

Oh that really sucks. Thanks for sharing that. I just found out about the program in August and have been working really hard to get everything done before Spring. I found out the Jan deadline just a couple days ago and was devastated 😞

They said most will be in the greater SA area, one is in Austin, and one is in Oklahoma with a few more clinical sites in the approval process.  They weren't specific on any hospital names and said there is a clinical coordinator that will do all the placements.  They were pretty vague regarding durations and how they will go about assigning clinical placement locations.

They said interviews would be in person.  They were honestly a bit vague on interview timing but I'm guessing some time in February.  If anyone else remembers more specific timing, let us know!

Thank you for sharing what you know 🙂 I was thinking around March since UTMB's deadline is 1/15 and they are having interviews in March. But yes, if someone else knows something different, please share!
