Hello! I am making a thread for people who plan to apply to UTHSCSA BSN to DNP Nurse Anesthesia program starting in Fall 2025! I would love to share program information, past application/interview experiences, questions as we apply, and any other thoughts!

I will be applying too. Currently studying for the GRE
I'm studying for the GRE as well! I plan to take it Nov 30 so scores are reported in time. What are you using to study?
I am using magoosh and planning to buy the practice test from the ETS website. What about you?
I'm using GregMat and I'm also planning to do the practice test but time is getting close! I'm looking forward to the info session next week to hear from the program director.
I didn't know about the info session next week. Also, is the Gregmat helping do you think ?
The info session is 11/12 at 6pm. It's virtual and you can register on the admissions page of the website.
I like the GregMat prep alright. It's pretty inexpensive and it has one and two month guided study plans that have been helpful.
Hey thank you for letting me know, I'm not signed up for the virtual session. Also good luck on the GRE. 😬

Were no one else's plans thwarted by the deadline being so soon compared to last year? I was planning to take the GRE in the early months of next year, but now I'm going to have to wing it or just wait to apply next year. I'm very sad. I wonder if I can apply while the results are still pending?
It definitely threw me off! I was also hoping to take the GRE in the Spring. I'm currently registered to take it in the beginning of December and the study processed has been rushed for sure. I'm just hoping for the best because I have everything else ready to apply this cycle.
In the information session, I asked if we can apply while the results are still pending and the answer was no. They suggest taking it early enough to allow the scores to be reported before the Jan. 2 deadline :(
