Hello every one ! started this thread to get to know applicants and help each other out ?

Does anyone have any insight on the interview? Is it clinical based questions or personal? It's two hours based on the email, and cant find any information. Thanks.

I don't know any recent grads or current students, but from what I've heard from some alum who went there years ago, the interview is very clinical heavy with some EI questions.

I had learned from someone a while back that they will try to break everything down until you throw in the towel. Pharm, Patho, any devices that you take. As I understand, they are not as friendly as some of the schools that narrow down their interview pool or mostly ask EI questions. I don't know for sure if it'll be the full 2-hour time, but the email said they are conducted in "blocks" which makes me think that it may be 4-6 interviewees and we will get 20-30 minutes each, but this it just speculation. This school interviews everyone who qualified, so they will have TONS of applicants to interview for very few spots.

I have not heard anything at all yet. I wonder if we get denial emails.

They just emailed me back about them still being in the reviewing phase of their process so I think they are still choosing some people to interview as well.

Does anyone know how many applicants they typically accept?

Has anyone received a denial or are they just waiting until they pick a few more people to interview?

I have not received a denial, but I called and asked if they would be sending out denial emails. They said they have sent out some denial emails already, and are still in the reviewing phase to offer interviews. We should know if we have an interview or a denial by mid-September. So maybe it's still a good thing that we haven't heard anything back yet, crossing fingers!

To those who have not received any email for either denial/interview. Out of curiosity what does your portal say under active applications? I'm in the same boat waiting on some form of email from them.

Mine says the application was received once I clicked the active application tab. I wonder if they are waiting to see if people pull out of interviews because they obtain admissions to either Baylor or TCU.

Our acceptances went out Friday for TCU. I just wrote to withdraw my interview, so im sure there will be more openings!

Same here!

Trying to help as many out as I can, so hope you all read this. I interviewed previously. Interview lasted about 15 minutes, panel interview, I want to say around 6 professors. You meet with current students before you interview to ask questions. Best of luck to everyone.

What does yours say? Mine says application received. I'm hoping we get some sort of resolution this week.
