I received an interview invitation yesterday, however will decline due to acceptance elsewhere

when did you fully submit your application

I submitted around 6/25 I believe.

Anyone get a denial? It seems invites only went out Monday. May have been the end of it.

I got the invite Monday at around 3:00.  I think they're going to wait until they see who all decline or accept the interview before sending a second round of invites.  That's probably why they said "they'll send out invites the second week of august, to give them time to send it to everyone they want to send it to.

I have not heard anything at all yet. I wonder if we get denial emails.
