Hi there,
I commented on last year's thread because I wasn't able to make a topic, but I figured out how to make one and so I wanted to post for people applying to next year's cohort.
Is there anyone currently in their PC-PNP program that would be willing to chat with me about the likelihood of acceptance?
Is anyone else applying to that program? Or to the other ones?

Tuesdays: Skills Lab 8-12 and Aging (first half of Summer, was asynch) and Nursing Management (second half of Summer, was in person sometimes and asynch some) 1-4. Wednesdays no class most days but a good time to do required Open Lab hours. Thursday 9-11:15 Adult Health and Aging/Nursing Management. Friday: 8-12 Fundamentals Theory for June and Simulation/Clinical days in July. We had 1 week off between the end of Summer session and the start of the fall semester.
Hey @AustinNative ! I just got accepted to the PMHNP program. I'm so stoked! I have been preparing for a long while now and know with certainty that this is the career path for me. However, after reading some forums, reddit threats, etc. I have the slightest bit of hesitancy about this program. Was wondering if you'd be willing to DM, email, or even meet in person (if you're comfortable) to chat about your experience. Please lmk, you seem to be a wonderful resource!

I'm taking pharmacology through ACC right now (HPRS 2300). I'm taking the accelerated schedule which is a bit much with work but doable. Also, it was $353.36 if that's helpful!

Portage online learning! https://portagelearning.edu/courses/biology/nurs251 It's more expensive than ACC but it's online, self paced, etc. UT recommends Portage and accepts all these classes. I've taken some of my prereqs there and about to enroll in pharmacology. Lmk if you need a study buddy!
Okay thanks! I see ACC has a Spring session 2 class but it looks to be in person and I'm in Dallas. I'll wait to hear for an acceptance though before I look into portage. Thank you everyone! @Psychaustinite12 I'll let you know!
