Hello everyone!
The deadline for applications to UTC for the start of January 2026 is near and I wanted to go ahead and start a discussion thread for all those planning on applying! This will be my first time applying to schools as well, so any and all advice is welcome. Best of luck to each of you!

You can try uploading it now, but I believe once you complete your app and pay the fee and it shows completed, I believe it sends it off to the review committee- so not sure if any additions at this point would been seen- but never hurts to try
Yeah I answered all the questions in the app's free text but there was nowhere for a document upload. I was able to upload my CV though. I hope I didn't miss something 🫣

You had to upload it where you uploaded your resume/CV and just select other document or such. The way I took it(but could be wrong) is that they don't really view your questions as in depth as they do the uploaded PS- but then to me, why even have us fill out the questions if what you really want is a PS 🤷🏻♂️

Yeah I sure did not do that🤧 where was that stated?
World_Traveler said:During the information session they had mentioned about attaching it. I kinda figured it out by clicking around, but reached out to the contact lady listed and she confirmed I did it right
I did not get to go to the info session bc I was at work 😞 unfortunate news...

Correct- I was referring the clearness of the personal statement and uploading it etc. Nothing was very clear about it with no actual designated spot or instruction on attaching it. I feel that if you didn't do it you can't really be held accountable for those reasons

I also assumed the free text was where you were meant to write your personal statement. After reading these comments, I went back and submitted my personal statement as an "add on" attachment with my resume/CV. I'm not sure if they will accept it at this point, but never hurts to try!
