The University of Alabama FNP - Spring 2026

Published

Has anyone applied to the UA Spring 2026 FNP program? I submitted my interview on 5/21 and I am making myself sick waiting for a response!!

An interview is a great sign! Prepare like you are doing a job interview. The one question I had that asked what would you do if you had a disagreement with a provider over a treatment plan.
Another asked how your work/home balance looks like with school.
You got this! Best of luck!

I don't remember the first 4 but the written one asked about implementing a program

It's a little nerve wracking for sure...but I thought I bombed the interview portion...but they do give all an interview is what I was told. The real litmus test if you will is getting the contingency email after the interview! I got the link for the interview on 7/31 and did it within the hour of receiving so, I think it truly is more about showing your personality and what makes you passionate about nursing more than having the absolute most right answer!! Good luck to you and hopefully we see you in class in January! 😁🙌🏾😁

I'm planning on doing it tonight! Putting the last kid to bed and then it's on! Haha hope to see you guys there too!

I'm from Florida too! Where are you located! I'm in South Florida

I agree with this! I was so nervous during it and you could tell but I just tried to keep myself composed and professional.

I actually got my contingency email before my official acceptance!

Yep! Same LOL! See y'all in the Spring! Anyone else doing the DNP dual?

I think the interview went well! I wasn't as nervous as I thought I was going to be. I thought it would be worse.LOL. Now I'm just waiting, which I think is worse than doing the interview haha

Make sure you get your castle branch done! There's a back ground check and drug screen. And... there's a whole other section for other things that need to be done.

You will need the academic advising appt.

That stuff needs to be completed before you can apply on 10/27.
Someone should start a fb group for us!
