UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

Has anyone applied to the UA Spring 2026 FNP program? I submitted my interview on 5/21 and I am making myself sick waiting for a response!!

Check your email right after you did the graduate application. 
it says thank you for submitting your application to the university of Alabama graduate school. You have been assigned a cwid #.

 Also, when you log into your application status portal, it is at the top.

Do we know if EVERY one gets an interview as another step? One blog says it's a good sign to get an interview, and then [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] said I would get an email for an interview then the application would move forward. I'm applying for the Dual FNP/PMHNP program for Spring 2026. Any feedback and such is appreciated!!

Hey, have you heard anything yet? I submitted my application 8/18. I called the coordinator and she said I should receive an email today with interview information. I didn't get an email and now I'm nervous all over again.

Hi there! I did, I interviewed on 7/31, I received an email about paying for my background check/drug testing on 8/16 and was accepted to the program on 8/27! Are you applying for the Dual FNP/PMHNP program also? Fingers crossed for you!

Also...make sure you check your junk it comes from the coordinator email address but it's from the School of Nursing!

Hi! I just applied for Spring 2026 FNP 2 days ago and got an email today about doing the interview!? Is that a good sign? And also, what were the questions like? How was the virtual interview process?

Hey. I applied 8/18. Received my interview email 9/10. Interviewed 9/11. And received my preliminary acceptance letter today (9/24) pending background and drug screen. Most blogs I read said getting an interview is a good sign. There were 5 recorded questions. You have 30 seconds to prepare and 2 mins to answer the first 4 questions. The last question is an essay style question and you have 10 mins for that. It was a little nerve wrecking but doable. Good luck to you!

I don't remember the first 4 but the written one asked about implementing a program
