The start of my NCLEX journey

Published

Hello to everyone who is taking the time to read this. I heard about allnurses.com through a good friend of mine who recently passed her PN-NCLEX exam, so congrats to her! She introduced me to this site & mentioned how supportive other student nurses/nurses are. For starters, my name is Jeanette, I am 21 years old, and graduated from lvn school a little over a year ago & have not once taken my PN-NCLEX exam. I am planning on scheduling my test for the month of August, so hopefully that will be more then enough time to study for it. This will be my first time ever taking the exam. WHY i put it off for so long, i have no reason other then getting caught up in work and being a huge procrastinator. But i know deep down, taking the NCLEX is the most important thing for me. i didnt go through hell & back in nursing school for nothing & passing this exam is the first step to becoming what ive always wanted to do, becoming a nurse! I am thankful for all the support & love i have from family & friends, but i definitely need to regain the confidence & faith i once had in myself. I hope i am not the only one on here who feels or once felt like that about themselves, but i really would appreciate any helpful comments or tips from anyone who can relate. Thank you for taking the time to read my intro about myself & current situation. Hope everyone is having a great positive day!
