The spouse and I

The spouse and I are finishing our first year in nursing school. We love it! We will be graduating in May 2005. We are finding it hard to get by financially. We have taken every loan and grant out there and we have been awarded academic scholorships, but it is still tough. My question - Does anyony know of any hospital scholorships for a commitment of employment?? We are pretty open to go anywhere. If you know any, post them here. Thanks.

You essentially have your choice of any state in the US and almost any area. Sorry that your area doesn't have it. Most of the larger hospitals have some type of program set up.

Good luck....................... :balloons:

Good idea! I will check into it.

Are you currently working at that hospital?

Does it have tuition reimbursement? That is a great way to have your schooling paid for. You work at the hospital (maybe 2 16 hour shifts on the weekend? That would 32 hours a week and if you and your spouse both could do it it could bring in enough money to significantly help ouit with your living expenses) and they reimburse you for your college hours.
