The Ohio State University MSN FNP track - video?

I'm wondering if anyone has applied to OSU's MSN program and been invited to submit a video. I am guessing that they are looking for a video version of the goals statement; does anyone have any input on this issue?

Hi keener- I too was invited to submit a video :-) I think mine went well, we shall see. How Have you heard anything back yet?

nursey43, glad to hear that yours went well! I thought mine was pretty terrible, not having done anything like that before. Ah well. :) I haven't heard anything except that they will make decisions by mid-May. Keeping my fingers crossed!

They are one of the top 25(?) in the country, so I figured I could not go wrong! I love the women and children research center. Amazing. I am finishing an accelerated program but definitely don't want to complete my MSN with the same school. I'm ready to move on to something awesome!

I have heard good things too! :) have you heard anything from them yet? Someone I know who was admitted last year said she found out first week of April ... We are getting close!

I was just asked to submit a video for the Midwifery DNP track. Did you guys get to see the questions beforehand or only when they popped up on the side of the screen during the recording of the video?

You won't see the questions beforehand; however, you are allowed to "practice" before you start recording. This will enable you to ensure proper lighting, ect. I made the mistake and wasn't sure if it was recording and did not begin answering until 30 seconds into the video. They will probably get a good laugh at the awkward silence when viewing my video:) Good luck to you! It is a good sign when asked to submit a video. It means your application is competitive.

I found out I was accepted as well! So excited! I was also accepted to Univ of Cinci and am now trying to decide between the two.... anyone have any advice?
