Thanks Brad. This information is very helpful. Do you feel that the Johns Hopkins series gave an accurate portrayal of nurses and what they do?
Mijourney,
I haven't as yet even ordered the series.
I just got an answer back from them and posted results on the board.
I assume the format will be just as graphic(I hope) in the portrayal of what a nurse goes through.
I will also assume Johns Hopkins will have adequate staffing for them during the taping so as not to give "the wrong impression" right?
Anyway,I'm excited to see what impact this will have on future consideration for programming and the way they are portrayed,I think, will have an impact on that.
Wouldn't it be nice for the general public to see the different specialties in nursing performing their craft. It would go a long way to get rid of the stereotypical call light wrangler and show a branched, creative, career opportunity instead of a linear one.
Can't wait to see it.I'll definitely post when I do.
