does anyone know what the new grad pay is at the Med? Also does the Med do loan reimbursement like Methodist and Baptist? I have a possible chance to work there but I wanted to know more about the hospital before I apply.
Thanks!

I would seriously doubt the Med does loan reimbursement, but I can't say for sure. From what I've heard, the Med pays around $21/hr with a $1 something more for "bedside". They do not offer shiff diffs. The pay the least of all the area hospitals.

I currently work at the Med...I'm not exactly sure what new grad pay is but we do get shift diff and $2 for bedside. I don't think they offer loan reimbursement but tuition reimbursement will start back for current employees in July. We are also getting a raise in July. This will be the second raise I have received in less than two years of working there. It is a New Day at the MED!

It has not, from what I've heard. Two friends that used to work there as well as three ED nurses that I work with now have told me that they left the Med due to worsening conditions. In fact, two of those three ED nurses just started working at my facility in the past couple of months.
Just anecdotal information. However, I've never spoken to anyone who has claimed the the Med has gotten better.
