The HRSA nursing scholarship is available now. I just submitted my application although I'm probably a long shot.
How to Apply for a Scholarship
If you're interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, you may be eligible for a scholarship through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The HRSA Scholarship Program is designed to support students in various healthcare disciplines who are committed to serving underserved communities and helping to address the shortage of healthcare professionals in those areas.
HRSA offer scholarships to help pay for health professions' education.
All Scholarship awardees will provide a one-year service commitment for each year of scholarship support received.
The application cycle typically opens in late Winter or early Spring and closes in late Spring or early Summer, so be sure to check the website regularly for updates.
Scholarship requirements:
To be eligible for the HRSA Scholarship, you must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited program that leads to a degree in one of the following disciplines:
Nursing (including RN, ADN, BSN, and graduate-level nursing programs)
Nurse Practitioner
Certified Nurse-Midwife
You must also be a U.S. citizen, a national, or permanent resident.
Have no federal judgment liens and service commitment.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for scholarship through the HRSA's online application system.
Scholarship award covers:
Tuition and Eligible Fees
A monthly stipend for living expenses
An annual other reasonable costs payment

I changed my phone number and when I clicked save and continue it just kept refreshing but when I closed the page and opened it again it had the new phone number I put in.

How about.... sleeping in, kids get themselves ready for school and on the bus, and make me breakfast in bed. Then i take a midmorning nap, wake up with a door bell ring and my analyst KH is stading at my door with 100 ballons and a huge check for the price of tuition and 1300 a month for 12 months...... .o0O

Well guys of there are 500 given out and 700 to choose from, most of us are good. Im sure they will let us know today.... Just get ready to get good news... I feel lucky to have "met" you all and hope that after we find out what is going on we can stay in touch. maybe start a facebook page for us, so we can follow each other and share our frustrations as well as happiness with each other..... What do you all think? Start a group?

Got an email from one of the girls who has cf as an analyst...she said she called cf this morning and found out they had a meeting on Friday and decided not to email decisions today and they would be sent snail mail instead...she did not say when though...back to the waiting game I guess
