Go to study group 101.com- it provides practice exams and notes that you can easily use to pass without even opening a college network book. I too went through the college network and now realize that I paid a third party $5,000 to do what I could have done on my own. You will probably realize this soon enough too so when you do dont beat yourself up too much.
I'm preparing to take my 2nd exam. I think it will be Chronicity. I bought CN modules for $25 each and have several texts but not all. I really do not want to buy anymore texts. I'd like to do studygroup101 but didn't like the H/S material. what is the Chnronicity material like? Did you strictly do this to prepare for exams? thanks
I used the required texts for ALL my exams only i purchased older versions to save me boats of $$$ i spent $250 for ALL books i needed =) you can see my grades/times i took the exams in my signature bar...I never used TCN or SG101 (looked at them but didnt vibe right with me for studying) I had one Chancellors book for life span psych and liked it better than any of the others (espeically the audio that came with it) Once i got to Chrono, i signed up for an online audio/visual lessons that i paid a monthly fee for and those were FANTASTIC for me! i have th elink if anyone is interested...but i think you just need to figure out how you learn best...i'm an audio/visual/note taker and i learn better doing it myself!
Wow, I feel guilty now. I have all of my college network books from 2007 that I never even opened. I signed up with TCN in 07 thinking I was going to get it done fast. Turns out I was so burned out on LPN school that i didn't even want to deal with any more reading/tests. Only recently did I get myself together and really get started. I did not read ANY texts. I bought SG 101 modules for $10 each on ebay (instant download). I'm not saying it will work for you like it did me, but taking the practice exams over and over fully prepared me for H/S....chronicity, not so much but I still passed. I'm being a little more proactive with reproductive coming up in 2 weeks. I am reading a borrowed copy of the hurst review's reproduction section. I am trying to get by with spending the least amount of $$ possible since I made the mistake of signing the dotted line with The College Network.

I'm going to download the Studygroup101 for Chronicity and give it a whirl. Can't beat the price. Thanks for the info!

HI. I JUST STARTED THE PROGRAM WITH THE COLLEGE NETWORK AND AM STUDYING THE 1ST MODULE. ANYONE WHO HAS ALREADY TAKEN THIS EXAM WITH TCN, CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME IF I CAN PASS THE EXAM WITH AN 'A' BY JUST READING THE MODULE PROVIDED. IF NOT, WHAT OTHER BOOKS WOULD YOU RECOMMEND.
THANK YOU.
