The cna payscale is an insult, to all we do!!!!

I am from Hernando county florida. The pay scale for Cnas is ridiculous. I just found out that 2 of my classmates, who "did" pass the exam, just got jobs. One, got hired at a hospital and the other at an assisted living facility. The hospital, starts out at $ 8.50 and the assisted living facility starts out at $ 7.50. Are you freakin kidding me???? That's horrible. Im better off working at Wal-mart as a greeter...Same pay, but less stress. Minimum wage I think is $7.21. What can we cnas do to get the pay scale increased, here in FL??? Do we need to write gov. Rick Scott??? Well, that won't work, he's out for the rich people. I am disgusted. I guess I am going to have to go back to school and further my career options....at 41..... :smackingf

move up to jacksonville. in my hospital you get 11 bucks if you're full time or part time. if you're prn you get 14.
