hello everyone, its my 3rd time when i pass my nclex-rn exam last april 11, 2012 2:00 pm. 3 weeks before my exam i sign here at allnurses.com and need advice if i should postpone my exam and do saunders book and im so grateful i did. and i also meet lavender59 he/she told me to pray for

st. joseph of cupertino and st. micheal the archangel and im very grateful that i meet lavender59 here, again thank you very much.

and i also do my novena to infant of jesus prague and our lady of good success.

i use different kinds of review materials.

1. feuer audio - i got it for free from my friend. what i did is i listen to the audio and write everything as in everything, by system and topic. and im glad i did it really help to understand psychiatric nursing especially the atypicals and typicals,etc. and also peds the heart defects. and a lot more.

2. kaplan review for 3 months online- i started of july 2011 and they extend me and give me another 28 days and additional 2 weeks . this review is very good but you have to be committed answering questions. i'm answering 100 questions a day and i have a note book that i write all the rationale or information that i don't know and need to know. repeat the q-bank and question trainers 3 times. you have to read carefully when answering kaplan questions and the decision tree is very helpful to me too. use it every time when your practicing answering nclex questions, so you will be used to it.

3. nclex-rn cram - i buy this book at barnes and noble. it has 1250 questions. this book is good too. it's all content questions. short questions that if you don't know your staff for sure you will get wrong.

4. saunder 4th edition- i'm glad i did this book. and answers the book and cd questions. when i use this book i do it by category and assess myself more which area should i read and focus.

5. la charity - this book help me more to understand delegation.

6. nclex-rn alternate-format question lippincott's - a lot of sata questions and computations that is very helpful to me when i'm answering my nclex-exam.

when i took the exam the first 10 questions was very content but for me it's very hard. i don't have any idea where did they get those questions. i am prepared taking this exam and review a lot. but before i answered to the next questions i say a little prayer and call all the saints that im praying for. and god is so good, the next questions that i get, i can say that i have an idea what they are asking me. i stop at 75 questions. after the exam on our way home im checking all the questions that i remember and checking through my phone and i got wrong..... then i started crying and crying because all i can remember was my mistakes.

finally when we arrived home. my family did the pvt for me and i got a pop up.

praise god i pass, all of my hard work paid off.

when im just starting my journey reviewing nclex-rn here is the bible verse that inspired me

Congrats! Your prayer quotes made me cry..after we lost 2 members of our family from cancer I lost faith and trust in God. I truly regret it.
