Last RN I hired sent "thank you for the interview email" and followed with card.... definately stood out in my mind along with her professional appearance and demeaner during interview. It moved her application to top of the pile.
Learned a trick from fellow poster here to take prestamped thank you card in handbag to interview. Fill out upon leaving interview and drop in mailbox upon leaving facility if postion desired saving time!

Hi everyone!
I was just wondering which is more professional and acceptable when sending a thank you card after an interview, through email or through regular mail? First I thought email because it is quicker and they will receive it right away, but then I thought maybe a card sent through the regular mail would be more personal. What are your opinions?
Thank you!
