Thank God I did NOT do TCN!!

Published

I was hesitant at first, and I am so grateful I read all these threads about TCN. It didn't make sense to me that I had to be with "their" program, then go to ISU and still have pre-req's that needed to be completed! Thanks to all of you!!!! You just saved me Money! However, when you go to ISU, they do tell you to go through TCN. I'm still going to research. I'm an LPN who's been in community college for the past 3 years part time to get my RN. I've been scammed by my local comm. college (they had my CAP wrong, and I was never told all I needed to do was take the TEAS test for the bridge program! So, I have 48 credits and I didn't even get to take the TEAS yet! At least all I need are the clinical and nursing classes!

What's TCN?

The College Network, a publishing company that is well discussed on this site for its practice of charging a lot of money for the study guides that it provides. People sign contracts for a loan that is several thousand dollars and they are legally obligated even if they do not complete the program. The study guides are for nursing programs with legitimate schools. TCN leads on prospective students to get them to sign the contract. TCN study guides can be bought, used, on ebay for $25 or $30 apiece, instead of financing a new one at more than $600 or so.
