75th anniversary of the bombing that changed the world

August 6th, 1945 and then Aug 9th, mark the 75th anniversary of the WW2 Japanese bombings of Hiroshima and then Nagasaki.

Shortly thereafter, WW2 ended on August 14th/15th with Japan surrendering.

There still survive some survivors of the bombings. There would only be a very few elderly military veterans still remaining.

A 'thank you for your service' to all remaining vets and our active service people, as well.
