Hey, you don't have to buy a bunch of expensive books. I bought one book, Foundations of Nursing Practice, by WHITE, and the rest I either looked up in some of my old textbooks from LPN school or looked up online. It isn't as rigid as you think.

If there is a textbook that you need for a course, check out

Right under the logo is a search engine where you can put in the ISBN or title and compare current prices on quite a number of sites - eBay, Amazon, half, alibris, etc. Not just prices for the new textbooks, but the current prices for used, at either fixed price or auction formats.
Do you need the textbook that Excelsior says is required? Depends on your learning style and what background you're bringing to the table. Just know that there are quite a few students out there that never bought one required text, but used comparable older used texts, study guides, or internet research.

Can you please tell me the ISBN of the foundations of nursing book you have? Does it say "Foundations of Nursing - Caring for the Whole Person" by White?
Thanks,
