I'm looking at renting for the first time myself. I dropped one class already so I don't have to worry about that book. Another class I've got the old edition book from my daughter. Unfortunately, a couple of classes have those "unique" bundles that the school sets up and I can't find the ISBN numbers, so I might have to buy those books. Really don't want to.
We used the same 10 textbooks through the entire two year program so it would have cost me a fortune to keep my books even if I sent them back between semesters.
Has anyone ever rented textbooks instead of buying them? I'm looking at my books, and it's much cheaper to rent them than to buy them (used even). Were there any books you felt were worth holding on to once you were done with that class?
