Texas Woman's University (TWU) - Fall 2025

Published

Hello everyone,

Noticed there was no topic for the TWU Fall 2025 cohort. Could be early, but I want to know how everyone is doing! I'm currently in the process of writing my personal statements. I know the program is very competitive, so I wanted to share my stats and hopefully receive some honest feedback on my chances of admission:

GPA: 4.0

TEAS:

Cumulative: 90.7%

Reading: 89.7%

Math: 94.1%

Science: 93.2%

English: 81.8%

Good luck everyone!

I believe it means you were not technically rejected as in your application will be up for review. There are likely some rare instances that someone applies but does so incorrectly or somehow is not eligible so they have to have a gateway in case

Does anyone know if they use our NursingCAS GPA or our TWU GPA? On my TWU account, under my progress, my overall GPA is 3.68, which is lower than my NursingCAS GPA of 3.86, and what I calculated. Also, under my nursing department requirements, it says my current GPA is 3.360. However, I got all A's in the courses listed under it. If possible, can anyone check if their GPA is calculated differently, so I can see if it's just normal or not? I'd really appreciate it.

I read that they use the GPA calculated in NursingCas, but honestly, I hope they use a combination of the two because my GPA on the Degree Plan Evaluation is much higher for some reason.

Where do we go to find our nursing cas GPA?

Go to NursingCas, click "check status", and download your application. At the bottom of "Academic History" is a breakdown of your GPA.

No, they don't. They use the GPA on your TWU portal. This is because if you retook a class nursingcas just averages that out while twu ONLY counts the second attempt of that class if that makes sense.

So what about if your a transfer student they automatically just use NursingCas for your GPA?

I'm a transfer too, and your TWU GPA is available in the degree plan evaluation on WebAdvisor. Now it makes sense why my nursingcas GPA is lower than TWU

It's the same as pioneer portal. You can access webadvisor from your portal. Then go to students menu, and it's under academic planning.

Nope they don't use nursing cas, just your transcripts from other schools which you can find in web advisor in your unofficial transcript 🙂

Good luck y'all, last year got their results tomorrow. Hoping for good news!
