Texas Woman's University (TWU) - Fall 2025

Published

Hello everyone,

Noticed there was no topic for the TWU Fall 2025 cohort. Could be early, but I want to know how everyone is doing! I'm currently in the process of writing my personal statements. I know the program is very competitive, so I wanted to share my stats and hopefully receive some honest feedback on my chances of admission:

GPA: 4.0

TEAS:

Cumulative: 90.7%

Reading: 89.7%

Math: 94.1%

Science: 93.2%

English: 81.8%

Good luck everyone!

You are not able to yet, they well send acceptance letters probably mid April and they will come to your twu email or personal email.

Gotcha, thank you!

Anyone joining for Summer 2025 online FNP program in TWU?

I am applying for Upper division program Dallas location.

I have no true prior medical experience (just health&wellness through fitness internships/yoga/martial arts/dance instruction and have been self employed artist for a decade teaching/performing)

Prior B.S. Kinesiology degree 3.52 GPA

Cumulative undergrad 3.48

Post Bach 4.0

Prereq 3.96

TEAS 93.3 (R 94.9 M 100 S 90.9 E 84.8)

Currently enrolled at Patho for Spring semester

This feels like major imposter syndrome going back down a new path for a second degree... and I just hope decisions I made over a decade ago (hence a lower cumulative GPA) do not overshadow that my more recent studies have been at a higher caliber.

When do they usually start sending out letters to people? 4-6 weeks?

Your stats look great! Are you using your GPA from the NursingCAS application or your TWU account? On my TWU account, my overall GPA is lower than on NursingCAS and what I calculated, so I was just wondering which GPA you used.

Does anyone know when we will receive decision letters/emails back fro TWU? Has anyone received it yet?

I haven't heard anything. For fall 2024, they got the first batch of acceptances on March 29, so I am thinking we will hear back around that time or early April. I also think they send acceptance letters in waves as people accept and decline their offers. I'm really hoping we get acceptances next week!

Hello everyone! I applied for Dallas/Denton, and I'm super anxious for the results. Here are the dates the acceptance letters were sent from the past 6 years if anyone wanted to know:

  • March 29 2024

  • March 27 2023

  • March 25 2022

  • March 31 2021

  • March 31 2020

  • March 29 2019

You're amazing for looking these up, but same!
I was expecting to get our eligibility emails by now, especially since others received theirs before their acceptance in past years. It seems like that's how it usually goes.

Has anyone received their eligibility letter yet? I'm so nervous I could cry.....

Do you mean acceptance letter? If so I called and the person said they are still going through application and will send out decisions end of this month no later than mid April.

Has anyone received their eligibility letter yet?

I emailed this lady back and forth and she said that they would send out formal notices beginning of April.

I emailed and they just replied back that eligibility letter will be sent this weekend and April will be decisions. I was just seeing if anyone had received theirs maybe people who applied earlier but I sent my application the last day.
