Texas Wesleyan University (TWU) CRNA - 2025 start

Published

Hello all! I didn't see a thread for the TWU CRNA class starting in 2025, so I wanted to start one! Feel free to share stats & ask questions!

anyone have their interview already and can relate to how laid back it was? Anyone experience this ? I don't know if thats bad or good

No, the interview was tough! Grilled with clinical questions and that's all. It was a group interview with another applicant as well. It was moved to online due to weather but that didn't make it any easier. They said I'd hear back in two weeks but I think it may be closer to February.

Had my interview already, also grilled with clinical questions. No emotional intelligence questions asked whatsoever. Try to help each other out, I noticed the instructors loved that. Also be sincere if you don't know the question. Good luck to everyone!

Yeah I was told that we would hear back mid February if not possible first week of February

Anyone that said they "got grilled" I am trying to see something.

do you mind sharing your stats? Also, was your interview for a specific clinical site or general?

My interview was for a specific clinical site. It was moved online due to the weather. I felt my interview was way easier than I expected. Do you guys think this is a good thing? I felt that my interview went very well.

Anyone that can help, just wondering what exactly you were grilled on? Did your answers to what type of patients you typically take care of kind of guide their questions, was it from your resume,  or were questions just at random that were typical of what we might see in an ICU setting? Any feedback will be appreciated!

The interview was guided by the resume for sure and the answers were what kept it going down the rabbit hole.

Specializes in ICU / ER.

I interviewed for a specific site, interview was online due to weather and it was between myself and another applicant. Started with a couple math questions / dosage. Then straight to resume based clinical questions. The more I answered, the more they asked me for specifics. So know what you're going to say down to the molecular level if possible. Then some EI and ended with some pharmacology. They also mentioned that we would hear back mid February.

Good luck to those who are still interviewing!

Anyone know when they will wrap up interviews for this cohort? Just did mine today and everyone was super nice and welcoming, more than what I have experienced from other schools! Good luck everyone! Hope we will make the cut 🤞
