I just got an interview invite via email at 7:15pm today. I submitted my application back in August 16th and application was verified a few days later. Never got any other communication since this evening. I previously applied and already had the online portal but haven't checked it.
I won't be interviewing, as I've already been accepted into another program.
My cumulative GPA was trash (2.83) due to failing a full semester my sophomore year due to a traumatic loss. But my last 60 hours were 3.35. I retook College Algebra and General Chem 1 with As, and I also took a graduate level statistics and Advanced Pathophysiology since applying the first time around. 6 years experience in nearly all ICU specialties except for burn and PICU/NICU. Multiple shadow shifts with a CRNA. GRE score was a couple of points less than their "recommended" score.
Good luck to everyone in their interviews! If you didn't get an invite this round, I encourage you to reach out to each program and inquire what you can do to strengthen your chance at an interview next round.

Which school did you accept it ? If you don't mind me asking. You're living proof that GPA is not everything. Congrats on your acceptance ?

Thank you! I will say my cumulative GPA has been the biggest hurdle in this process. This is my third year applying and the first year receiving any interview invites so it's definitely been a stressful and discouraging ride at times. I've found that it's finding a school that will look at the applicant as a whole and not just the GPA. With these programs that are using NursingCAS, it's very easy for them to sort applications by GPA and when they do that, it's highly likely you'll just be skimmed over if you're cumulative isn't great. I'm actually impressed that I was extended an invite from this program since it's so large and you're right, GPA is not everything! Multiple programs recommended that I take graduate level courses to "stand out" and show that I was ready for graduate work.
I got accepted into National University in Fresno. I really liked how they scored their applicants, and the faculty that interviewed me made me feel comfortable and were easy to talk to.

That's awesome. I am very happy for you. Getting rejections is tough specially after 3 years. But your hard work paid off. You're gonna be a great CRNA ?

I spoke to them and they said they had my scores, and sometimes due to the influx of scores being received at once it can take a while to get posted to your file.
I also was just offered an interview today so hopefully you all will hear back soon!
