Hello all,

I wanted to make a thread for nurse anesthesia students looking to apply to Texas Wesleyan specifically as the interviews will be coming up soon. ?

Anyone else interviewing Oct 28-30th?

Has anybody already interviewed with them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! I interview oct 29th

I haven’t interviewed yet but I’m using EQ question samples and going through my CCRN studying guide while glancing through Dukes Anesthesia secrets. Hope this helps and good luck.

Interview was tough and don’t think I did too hot. Ask a lot of questions that I just did not know.

My interview was ok I think. I wasn’t expecting to be interviewed as a group, but it was beneficial. I liked hearing other people’s answers. They’re conferring Friday and will let us know 7-10 after that by snail mail or email.

Yea same. I wasn’t expecting the group because I felt like based on other people’s answers kinda dictated where the conversation and topics would go and the topics were not in my wheel house at all. Felt like an idiot. Hopefully decisions aren’t 100% based on interviews. Oh well, no excuses.

I watched y'all leave and I ended up getting an individual interview. It went okay-- always second guess myself. Fingers crossed for everyone.

Does anyone else feel like not that great about interview? I’m really beating myself up. Wish I could have a redo lol.

I interviewed in the 10am group today with two others. It looked like their were six of us split into a group of three, a group of two, and an individual interview. I felt pretty good about the interview, but they are pretty hard to read! They said we have about two weeks give or take, so cheers to the waiting game! Good luck to everyone interviewing tomorrow!

I kind of wish I would've interviewed with you all in October, especially if they're providing notice before the January interviews! My app was all complete by the deadline except for one late recommendation letter turned in a couple days later. Oh well, thankful for an interview at all!

Do you mind sharing what is the best route to go to enter this field of nursing? My sister just started a nursing van program.
