Texas Wesleyan CRNA 2020

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hello all,

I wanted to make a thread for nurse anesthesia students looking to apply to Texas Wesleyan specifically as the interviews will be coming up soon. ?

Anyone else interviewing Oct 28-30th?

I picked all Texas sites for my preference.

I am interviewing on the 28th at 0830. I can’t remember which sites I chose or how I ranked them. When they called for my interview, they’d said that I’d likely go to California since I am from here. I am excited to interview!

Hey interviewing October 29th @0900. @jshtoole if you review your application it will disclose which sites you chose. I wish I had done more research prior to choosing the sites I did, but hopeful either way!

Do you think they’ll let us adjust our sites? It’d be nice to stay out of California for all three years.

Looks like I chose arrowhead, all saints, and mobile infirmary.

It may be worth bringing up during your interview. I am from GA/SC. I chose BaylorUMC, Baylor All Saints, and LSU?? I thought I had originally chosen all Texas sites. Honestly down with whatever gets me into the program lol

Wonder what it means if you interview in October versus January?

I don’t think it means much other than the October interviews are for people that turned in the priority deadline?

When I review my app it takes me to the Self Service Center. This shows a summary, list of completed application requirements, completed recommendations, my invoice and payment. Where are you finding your chosen sites?

Thanks!

Go like you are going to print your application, scroll down on the pop up application and you should see it.

I interview the 29th at 1000.I'm excited and nervous! I think I chose Lubbock as my first choice because I live in the panhandle now. Then Harris and LSU as my second and third as they ahve the largest number of available spots to fill. Good Luck everyone! I think I read somewhere that they plan to have decisions of acceptance made and sent out within a couple of weeks after all priority interviews are done. I hope that's true and we aren't waiting till February.

I know a few people who interviewed in January last year and got accepted on the spot so I wouldn't be too worried about it. I interview Oct. 29th and can barely hold my nerves together. Good luck to everyone else who interviews!
