Texas Tech Traditional BSN 2013

Hello Guys!!I just wanted to create a new thread for the 2013 Texas tech BSN program! I will be applying this December (El Paso) campus. Is anyone else?

I am so excited and hopefully in the near future I can meet you all!

I am so nervous....but I am sure most of you all are feeling the same.

yea, i was accepted to odessa campus so im pretty much finishin up on my preREQs, its like i now have an abundance of classes to take, not only the patho and into to nursing but statistics and a college algebra class, i thought statistcs would be all but i recently found out that if it was psyc statistics it would not suffice to texas tech without completion of a college level math class. I was gonna just knock two birds out with one stone but hcc requires u to take college algebra THEN math statistcs...ugh then after all said n done i still have to pass chem n englsh 2 this semister ..wit class starting aug 15th i hv to complete ALL those summer classes in summer one! its soo overwhelming! and on top of that i STILL have to get an apt and job in HIGH priced living odessa

Has anyone received an email of beginning a background and fingerprinting??? I jus received it yesterday. Earlier in April I was asked to do a video essay, now this background check & fingerprinting? It says this will be needed to completed prior the first day of class. Has anybody also received this email?? Is this an acceptance, wait list or rejection?? I am so confused!!

I just called the other day @ it's just a reminder to all that its suppose to be done. I got an email a while back saying I'm on the waitlist & the video & background need to be done

No this is the first email I've received after the invitation to do the video. Earlier in April I has already made a video essay now the new deadline is this Sunday, should I make new video or so? I applied to Lubbock and Abilene! I never received an email on if I was wait listed or so. This is my first email after the video essay email!!

how long was ya'lls videos? was it more than 5 min?

The video directions said not to go over 5 minutes. Mine was at 4:58 i think haha

It also said no bigger than 150mb mine wwas 27.4mb .. with 5.14.. I am kinda nervous it will not go through. Do you know more or less how long it took for yours to encode?

My video was around 4:58min. My video was encoded in less than 10 minutes! I was actually out of country when I submitted it. I hated this video thing I was nervous!!!
