Hey everyone I'm applying to the Texas Tech school of nursing program for Spring 2016 I was just wondering if anyone else is too! :) has anyone taken the HESI test yet??

Hi Everyone,

I am applying to TTSON El Paso Fall 2016. I just submitted my NCAS application. I was hoping to get some guidance on the Supplemental application. I setup my Merlin account but once it was setup the actual application states "NO Open application at this time". Could it be because I just submitted the NCAS application. The deadline for both is Feb 1st. Thanks in advance

El Paso campus doesn't use the merlin account for the supplementary application anymore from what I remember. I think Castaneda sends the link/application via email. How long ago did you complete the nursing cas?

I was submitted today. I was waiting on the last reference to submit their letter. Castaneda is no longer part of student affairs and therefore my point of contact has been switched yet again. I emailed Gretchen but now I have to wait till Monday or so for an answer. It's stressful just waiting for the staff to reply. So I figure why not ask here.

Totally understandable! Trust me, I'm pretty impatient.lol but I did not know about Castaneda! Well Yea, best bet is to wait for them to reply because they send it via email.

Hello !! Well if I remember correctly, we don't do the supplemental through merlin... once you submit your Nclas the University will review it, then you will get an email with instructions to fill out the supplemental application :) wish you the very best of luck! I remember being in your shoes not to long ago and the wait was killing me.. but it goes by fast!!

Well first.. if u get an interview it doesn't mean your in for sure... some people I met at the interview thought they were in because they got an interview .. next, the interview could be with 2 or more people.. they just ask the usual, why nursing what is nursing and ethical questions.. some were asked more than others.. my interview lasted about 20 minutes. . . Not too bad. Word of advice sleep and rest all you can now :) lol.. once your in, you'll be studying non stop.. hope this helps and good luck!

Congrats to those who are accepted. If you weren't accepted good luck next time. We just finished our first semester thank God. There's always a rest period after the storm.
