Texas Tech FNP Fall 2017

Published

I have applied for the fall 2017 semester for the FNP program at Texas Tech University.

I am very anxious and am wondering if those who were recently accepted could tell me what qualifications you had when you applied and whether you were accepted or not.

How is the program any suggestions?

I appreciate all of your input.

That's what I am worried about. I was hoping to work part time at 24 hrs a week to keep our benefits but I just wonder how demanding it is and if I would be overwhelmed. Texas Tech has a great collegiate ranking and I would be proud to be a graduate from their prestigious program. My husband and I are talking it over and ultimately by next week I will decide. I am leaning towards Texas Tech. Do you live in Texas or near Lubbock?

Which program did you choose? I am starting at UTA Aug 14th but am applying for Texas Tech for spring. The price difference makes Tech appealing.

I chose Texas Tech! I spoke with a few NPs who graduated from Tech that really liked the program and they are NPs that I admire. A Texas state FNP student said the program was too new and disorganized and she hated it. Happy with my choice and ready to begin! Excited about the low tuition cost as well.

Hi Rebecca, Im starting the FNP program in August as well! (at Tech) Id love to connect- Im located in fort worth, how about you??

Also- any insight from previous students/FNPs that have been through the program?

I was wondering if anyone had been admitted into the spring PNP program for 2018. I wanted to know what the booklist was, can you send me an email? [email protected]. I know the book list will change, but I wanted to start reading ahead and I don't care if a book I'm just going to be pre-reading is not the exact one used. I start in the spring of 2019.
