Methodist/El Centro Nursing Program Spring 2014

U.S.A. Texas

Published

I've created this new thread for those applying to the Methodist Nursing Program linked with El Centro. This program is for those that are employed, have immediate family members employed, and volunteers that have reached a certain amount of hours at a Methodist hospital. They only accept twenty people each semester.

Since they have changed the El Centro Curriculum I'm not sure how the new point system is going to work. Has anybody else heard anything new about this program?

Thank you!

Did you get accepted to start Fall 2014? Or are you in the program now? I'm trying to start fall 2014. so I'm just trying to get an idea of how many points is enough to get me in?

I applied for Sprimg 2014. This is the first semester with the new points system so it's hard to determine what's a decent amount of points. I took that post from the fall 2013 thread but the point system was completely different.

trevisam000,

Hey I did get an interview and I have been so busy with work that I have not got a chance to calculate my points. I was notified on Nov 16th for the interview. I am super excited! How about you?

trevisam000,

I wish you the best of luck with the interview. And thank you for the information on the interview.

Just wanted to say good luck to you all! I'm an employee of THR and applied to their partnership program with El Centro.

I go an interview as well. I have no idea of the questions I'll be asked.

Good Luck to everyone with interviews :) Keep us posted!!!!

@blancarosag06 @itsdav3 My interview is Wednesday at 1030. When are both of your interviews? Also I applied with 28 - 30 points. I feel like those are low points compared to 42 but I don't know. Do you think they are interviewing all of the eligible candidates? Or just 20?

Good luck!!! My interview is at 11:10 am today :)

How'd it go?? I was really nervous for mine.

My interview went really well. I was nervous as well but I tried to stay calm and be myself. Plus I knew one of the interviewer. How about your interview? How was it?

That's such a good advantage to know one of the people who interview :) I thought it went really well but I'm still not sure if it's enough to get in. Do you know how many were interviewed? And did you know only ten we're going to be accepted?? I thought it was 20 but they said only 10 this time..

I had an interview yesterday at 10 am. I thought it went well. Let me know when you receive your good news !!
