RN program, hoping to start Fall 2011

I will be starting the lvn in Jan 2011. I wanted to do the rn program but still have to take anatomy and physiology. Have you taken it already? Who was your teacher?

No I haven't taken A&P yet, i'll be starting A&P I this spring & A&P II this summer. I took both at a previous college but I just hit the 5 year mark from when I took both those classes that I need to take them again. Although, it sucks to take them again it's probably best it's been awhile and i've forgotten a lot of what I learned. Good luck on staring your LPN year! How long of a wait was it for you to get into that program?

I'm starting my pre-reqs Spring 2011. I'm going for the RN program as well. I'll be taking A&P this spring.

That's great! Is that the only pre-req class you'll be taking this spring?

No, I'm taking A&P I, English Comp I, Intro to Nursing, and a dev math course :(. It's been at least 5 years since I've been in school and math is definitely NOT my stongest subject. But I decided to take the class because I eventually want to get my BSN and I'll need some foundation skills in algebra.

I can definitely relate, math isn't my strongest subject either. I'm actually taking a dev. math course this spring semester along with Intro to Nursing, & Lifespan Growth and Development. I need to take my dev. math course before I can take the Biology class and I also will need to take A&P.

Yeah I think I've got my scheduled figured out for the most part. I'm going to try and register at midnight on the 28th to make sure I get my first choice of classes! I have two kids so I really need the schedule that will work best for the three of us :)
