Texas Nurses/Students *ADVICE NEEDED

Hi, I'm changing careers to Nursing. Currently I'm doing IT and occupy a cubicle all day, tied to a phone. I was formerly an Army combat medic and flight medic but that was many moons ago. I was injured in the Army and didn't pursue a career in nursing after I exited.

I live in Texas, the DFW metroplex to be exact and I'm looking for accelerated 4 year programs....something like a 4 year degree in 2 years or 3 years.....or the best path from a 2 year as an assistant to LPN. I'm also considering getting my overweight frame into shape and going back in to the Army to pick back up on combat nursing. I loved the excitement and rush.

Also, what are the best schools to look into in South Arlington? I was planning on TCC.
