Texas licensure questions

Published

hi

I have already done my ces from cgfns. Currently i am a residence of maryland.can i do process for texas still living in md.i got finger print paper from texas board of nursing but i am wondering both are compact state.i would be eligible or not for texas?please somebody help me

thankyou

You may process your application for Texas while you are living in MD. If you are going to be moving to Texas, then the compact license will not apply for you as you will be moving from MD. The Compact License is only valid if you retain your legal residency in that state. If you move, then it will not be valid any longer.

If you do not hold a license for MD at this time, then there is no issue with the Texas application at all. But you need to be aware that the license issued for Texas if you can legally work in the US, will only be valid for in Texas only, it will not have the Compact part attached to it until you are legally a resident of Texas.

thanks so much suzzane ,yeh i dont have license of md that means i can do apply for texas bon but should be legal residence of that state for license.now my process is to get att,coz my ces report is already issued.
