Hey fellow new nurses!! I wanted to start a thread for those that have recently applied to the THR Oct 2020 cohort! I applied for several positions throughout the FTW/HEB/AMH/Alliance entities! How about you? Have you received any interview invites?

I accepted a position this week at THR as well for a medical unit at THR-HEB! Where did y’all get offers at?

I’ll be at THR Dallas in Neuro/Trauma ICU

I was offered a position with THR the unit is one I am very excited about but it was not my preferred location (would make for a pretty long drive. I had an interview at my preferred location last week and another application for that location still just says received on my job page. I am curious- were the positions y'all offered your first choice or was there another location/unit you were holding out for? Not sure how to navigate this. Very grateful nonetheless! Still feels so surreal ?

Hey there! I have a question for you, did they tell you if the position was nights or days? I have an interview for this position and am just curious to see what the positions schedule is like.

I know for my position at Alliance I was told by both the recruiter and the mgr that it will depend on the unit needs once I'm off orientation

How long after your interviews did you all hear back?

For one, the same day. I never heard anything on the others

  • I interviewed today for the cath lab position in Arlington. Should know something by Thursday.

That's AWESOME!! I applied for it, but in order to proceed I'd have to give up the offer I've already accepted. Too risky
