Hi everyone! I applied for a nurse residency at Texas Health Resources for February 2020. I was wondering if anyone else has as well or if anyone who has previously interviewed with THR could provide some tips/feedback?

There's already a thread started for THR 2020

But I haven't heard back from THR just yet this will be my first time applying. Have you gotten a response for an interview?

Thanks for letting me know there was already a thread, I had been looking but couldn't find it for some reason. This was also my first time applying with THR. I did get an email last week about coming in for an interview. Have you checked the status of your application?

I've been active in the other thread, but to recap, my Arlington application has been in review since July 22nd ? sigh

Good luck to you though, this is exciting! I'd recommend going through the older THR threads, you could find some info about the interviewing process there. If not, Glassdoor and Indeed have interview information too, like questions they might ask, etc. Worth checking out too!

It still says application under review, the last time I heard from them was when they sent me a preference form

Thank you! I am nervous, I'm not the best at interviewing. I've been trying to look on glassdoor and other threads about residencies but I haven't been able to get much information. I've been wanting to get an idea of their interview process so I could be more prepared.

I'm sorry you haven't heard anything else from them but stay positive! It seems like you're still an interest if they are reviewing your application.

Does it say which facility is reviewing your application? Before I got the interview I noticed that my first 2 preferences had passed up on an interview, but my 3rd choice is the one that contacted me for an interview. I'm happy with that either way! Just thought it'd be worth mentioning.

Thank you for the encouragement, we'll see what happens! I'm sure you'll do well, you've made it this far. I have a quick question for you though, did your application status change online before the email, or did you get the email first? It's okay if you can't remember, haha.

I haven't seen changes since July 7th, are you viewing this information on the job page tab?

I don't even see my preferences posted under this tab, It only says Arlington under Graduate Nurse Residency (RN) February 2020 - Full-time and Arlington wasn't even one of my preferences

I may have told you wrong, my apologies. Yes I did look under the jobpage tab. Arlington had been my 3rd preference, so I thought when it had said "Arlington" that was who was looking at my profile and that my first two choices had passed me up.

I honestly don't know! I think after? From what I remember I had checked at like 11am one morning and saw it was under review. Later that afternoon I got the email and that evening it changed to "interview" online.
