Texas Health July 2017 Residency

Does anyone know when Texas Health Resources will open up their application for their Graduate Nurse Residency program for July 2017?

Has anyone worked in the ICU for any of the THR facilities? If so, where at and what are some pros/cons?

Does anyone know if THR require our instructors to submit references through email, or can applicants attach the reference letter themselves or bring them to their interviews?

Applications opened yesterday 2/20! I applied to Fort Worth, HEB, Arlington and Dallas locations for women's and ER!!

I applied yesterday as well!! All my apps still say "considering " so I don't think they have been looked at yet.

I applied to 7 positions at ft worth and HEB in women's services and PCU :-)

I also apply for all ICU gn jobs in THR FW, southwest , HEB, plano and Arlington.

I hope I heard good news from them soon!

Is there anybody get any news feom them, let us know!!

I received the GN screen email to list preferences. It says to send back within 48 hours but I did it immediately lol.

Now to wait....and continue stalking the status updates....:bag:

I currently work at Texas Health Southwest. It's a great hospital and I would highly recommend it it to anyone. Recently got magnet! But it's way too far of a drive for me. I'm really wanting Dallas Presbyterian. Or maybe HEB... heard it was good.

Do you happen to know what is on med surg 5th floor? I saw a residency post and am curious what types of pts are there...

This may be a silly question. But it says there are two forms attached to the email. I only saw one... do you just make a list for our references in a word document? Thank you

Yay for "reviewing application"!!!! Progress!! :-)

My email said there were 2 documents as well, but I only got one. The single document consisted of BOTH the preference form and the questionnaire so I only filled out that one form and sent it back.

A classmate who applied to surgical ICU in Dallas status reads "application in review process" :)
