Anybody else applying for 2025 TCU start? Any volunteer/shadowing hours? Feel free to list GPA/GRE stats as well! I'm trying to gauge how competitive my application is hahah. Would love to support one another through this!

Thanks for being available to us!! Do you have any advice for the interview?!
1. I would review common emotional intelligence questions for sure, as well as common clinical questions and have answers to those "gimme" questions (Why CRNA, Why TCU, Conflict in the workplace, mistakes or errors that you have made in practice, times that you have failed, etc.). I would also be ready to discuss any perceived shortcomings in your application (low grades, etc.) and discuss how you have learned from those experiences.
2. Don't mention any medication, illness, etc. unless you are willing to go in depth. They will absolutely use things that you mention as follow-up questions to test your knowledge.
3. Have some good questions for them, and don't ask questions that are readily answered with a quick Google search. The type of questions you ask can show your extent of preparedness for school in general or knowledge of TCU in particular.
4. Try your best to relax! All of our faculty are good people, and they care immensely for every student! Know that they want for you to be successful and this is just one more way to get to know you and assess your readiness for CRNA school.
5. Don't be discouraged if you don't receive an acceptance letter. Getting into CRNA school can be difficult. TCU is not the only CRNA school (although I think it's one of the best!). Do your best to improve any weak spots (faculty can help with this if you request any feedback on your application), and maybe spread your net a little wider with more applications to various schools.
If I can answer any questions regarding TCU, please let me know!

I believe the email says we should hear back by July 19th. It looks like last year they sent out interviews on the exact same day of their deadline so I don't think we will hear back until then...

Hi does anyone know how many people apply each year, how many get interviewed, and how many get accepted each year? I think I remember class size is around 60+ on average? Anyway good luck everyone!

Hey! The program usually has ~250-275 applicants, although I was told this is the largest group of applicants we've ever had. Roughly 120 are selected for interviews and class size is anywhere from 65-70.

I believe they are sending invites by the 19th. If past years are any point of reference, they usually send them on the last day in the late afternoon.

Yes, it looks like they sent them around 5pm on the deadline date. So it's going to be a long week
