Anybody else applying for 2025 TCU start? Any volunteer/shadowing hours? Feel free to list GPA/GRE stats as well! I'm trying to gauge how competitive my application is hahah. Would love to support one another through this!

I haven't submitted mine yet, so that's why I am more confused about it haha! The page said we will receive more info about it Feb 2024, but I didn't receive additional info then so not sure how it works..

I have a mixed background of 5y ICU, mainly SICU but I've also done STICU(trauma, neuro and cv) and MICU when traveling. I charge and precept, and am the PI for a research study for one of our patient populations.

When it comes to the application. I also have several hours of CRNA shadow experience too. Where do you put that information in the application? I only see a form that needs to be filled out saying to verify that you have shadowed

You could include that on a "Professional Development" section of your resume.

Currently in Neuro and about to switch over to CTICU/transplant ICU at my hospital in two weeks! Originally, was going to try to apply to this cycle, but with my GRE still pending and starting this new unit I'm going to just push it back til next year. Wishing you luck!

how did you study for the GRE

Hi there! I did GregMat's 2 month recommended study schedule, but stretched it out over the Summer. I found the videos helpful for refreshing the untouched math in the corners of my brain.

I'll be applying this year. 

GRE stats are 155 V/ 145 Q/ 3 W

I have 9 years experience as an ICU RN. 5 in CVICU/ 2 MICU/ 2 Travel ICU. I'm also in the USAR and plan on applying to the STRAP program if accepted.
 

CCRN, CSC, PALS.

shadowing 8 hours.

Can the GRE scores be verified on nursingcas even after submitting the application? I haven't received a notification nursingcas has received it yet but I want to submit my app in time.
