Texas Children's Hospital Summer 2021

Hi everyone! I'm going to be a May 2021 new grad nurse and am looking for a nurse residency job in TX (between Austin and Houston). I've applied to every hospital I was interested in except for Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. For the life of me, I can't get ahold of anyone to answer my question about when the application opens for the Summer '21 cohort. I've been watching the careers page like a hawk and nothing! I even noticed they took down their new nurse graduate residency program page altogether on their main website. Is anyone else in the same boat as me or know anything about what's going on with them!?

Congrats!! If you don’t mind sharing, when is your interview? Who called you, was it the director of the unit or a recruiter?

My interview is Monday morning. My recruiter sylvia called me

For those who have not gotten any calls does your status still say “under review” and for those who have, has it changed?

Received a call today, set up an interview for ACHD ICU on Wednesday. My application status still says "under review"

No interview yet for me, still says under review

It went well! Behavioral questions and some conversational questions 

They are hiring 6 for Cardiac ICU

 

They also said TCH is hiring about 100 GNs which is amazing news!!

I think it’s different for every unit but cardiac ICU should hear no later than next Wednesday is what they told me

Hey guys~ I was wondering how long the hem/onc department takes to get back to interview candidates with a job offer or job decline? thanks in advance

I accepted a position in the ACHD ICU! I'll also be floating to CICU when needed!
