Texas Children's Hospital Summer 2021

Hi everyone! I'm going to be a May 2021 new grad nurse and am looking for a nurse residency job in TX (between Austin and Houston). I've applied to every hospital I was interested in except for Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. For the life of me, I can't get ahold of anyone to answer my question about when the application opens for the Summer '21 cohort. I've been watching the careers page like a hawk and nothing! I even noticed they took down their new nurse graduate residency program page altogether on their main website. Is anyone else in the same boat as me or know anything about what's going on with them!?

I haven’t heard anything yet, driving me crazy! But I did NICU & Peds ER. Wbu?

I did gen peds as #1 and a step down unit (if that’s an option - recruiter didn’t give me exact units), still nothing!?

I did CVICU + PICU

I did IRU ( Inpatient Rehab Unit) and General medicine/Transplant Unit. It kinda sucks that we don’t even know what units are hiring, I feel blind LOL.

LOL ikr! I feel like I don’t even have a chance if they not hiring in the units I choose smh. Hopefully we’ll hear something soon!

Hoping we all get calls soon! I applied to the Adult congenital heart disease ICU and NICU as my second choice.

Has anyone called their recruiter to find out what’s going on? I tried to call mine but she didn’t pick.
