Texas Children’s Nurse Residency Summer 2019

Hello fellow almost-graduate nurses! I know it’s early, but I wanted to go ahead and start this topic. I’m going to be applying to Texas Children’s Nurse Residency in The Woodlands campus. I’ll also be applying to Children’s MH & Me Memorial Hermann The Woodlands! Feel free to post here with any info you guys have and I will do the same. We’re all in this together!

I’ve been wondering the same. I had to fill out an application but haven’t heard anything since.

Oh no I’m not sure. I was just assuming they were. I thought they always did? Have you reached out to the recruiter?

Hey yall! Has anyone gotten more information on what orientation will be like? I haven't received much information other than that I needed to submit my certifications and schedule my physical exam and everything

I haven't received anything either! Where did they tell you to submit your certifications? I have completed my onborarding and was told I would be contacted at the end of the month for the physical exam, but nobody ever mentioned this!

So I think during the physical exam they want us to bring our license/certifications, diploma and health records. They sent what to bring to this appointment in an email confirming my health assessment appointment! Other than that, we are to complete on boarding tasks and submit the questionnaires on puresafety prior to our health assessment appointment. I believe that’s it for now!

Oh ok, that makes sense!! So you have already scheduled your health assessment appointment? I wonder why mine is so delayed!
