Hey! I have been searching all around and cannot find any information on the TCH nurse residency program. I am graduating in may 2016, looking to be hired in the summer. Anyone know when the next application submission is? Thanks a bunch!

Hi!!

I too plan on applying for the nurse residency at TCH. I hear that they are typically one of the later applications to open up, maybe around March or so. I am not 100% sure though. If you hear anything please keep me posted!!

they don't really post any information online, so you have to keep searching. just to give you an idea, the application deadline for the program starting in February was November 20th

I have heard that the residency program for the summer starts in July ! I also saw on another thread you applied to childrens medical center of dallas for May 2016!? I was soooo going to apply when I saw the posting, but when I called and spoke to a recruiter she said that the May residency was canceled, and that there will be a July start today. So I didnt apply....but now I am thinking maybe I should have :-( maybe that will look at your application before everyone else!

Hi ms.simone! Yes, I have seen you on these Texas residency threads as well! So, I did apply to the May residency, but they no longer offer a May start. It must have been a mistake, and it was only up for about two weeks. I did apply to the new July application that opened today. I'm crossing my fingers! Dallas would be a better location for me, but obviously TCH is an amazing facility as well.

If you dont mind me asking, who did you address your cover letter to? I am from out of state (NC) and havent been able to get in touch with anyone at the hospital recently. Feel free to PM if you want !

Hi! The application for TCH new graduate program is now open! I believed it opened yesterday, thats when I saw it, and applied! Good luck to you!
