Texas Board of Nursing and WGU Pathopharm course

Updated:   Published

Has anyone had any trouble with APRN licensure especially in Texas and took MSN courses from WGU? I had no problem being accepted to PMHNP programs. However, I am facing an issue with the c155 course pathopharm course by Texas BON. I am having to send the course syllabus because the BON wants to find out if it is a dedicated pathophysiology course. Has anyone taken the 3P's with WGU and applied for APRN licensure with their state board? I will call WGU Monday for more assistance to research this issue as well as post on their alumni page.

Hello,

Can you tell me what happened in your situation? I am currently in the process of applying to texas board of nursing for APRN-CNP. I am not sure what to expect since they are still reviewing and waiting for documents. Thank you in advance.

  • What’s is “pathopharm”? Is this a combined pharmacology & pathophysiology course?

Yes, I believe it is.
