Oh I'm sorry! I hope I didn't scare you! Haha nursing school is just extremely competitive. If I don't get a spot off the waitlist I guess I will just reapply again for the spring. If you have the courses that match more then one school then I would definitely consider applying to more then one school. I know that if you get your application into Texas State early they sometimes they will even accept you without meeting all of the prerequisite course requirements! Your scores should be more then sufficient to get you into A&M commerce though. :)

Was that the only school you applied to? If not, I'm pretty sure you could get in anywhere else! I applied to commerce for spring but didn't get in because of my gpa I'm assuming. But I'm retaking a class that would significantly improve my support gpa if I get an A. I also applied to UTHSC-Houston for summer. My choices have been limited though because I REALLY don't want to take the TEAS lol I've been dreading it.

Aww I'm sorry. :( Yes A&M university was the only one I applied to so I guess I will work as a phlebotomist and do some volunteer work over the summer until I can hopefully go in the spring if I get in. Their prerequisites are so specific that I don't have the prerequisites for any other nursing school and I don't want to waste more money or time to go somewhere else. Did you take the HESI instead? I herd the TEAS is significantly more challenging, but with that in mind they expect lower TEAS scores as well. A fun little GPA booster that I usually do every semester is yoga haha. It only counts for one credit, but if you do it every semester, it can improve your GPA quite a bit and it's fun!

That's really smart! 1 credit every semester counts! And I did take the HESI and I know I would have more options if I took the TEAS but I just can't put my mind to it lol. I heard it's very hard as well but I might end up taking it to apply to SHSU since their deadline is in June if I don't get in to UTHSCH.

Oh that sounds like a great plain!! Yeah, nursing entrance exams are just the worst! Lol it's already bad that you have to take one, its no fun to have to take 2! If u do end up taking the TEAS though you should consider sending in an application to UT Tyler's nursing school. They have a really great nursing school that's not crazy hard to get into! It's ranked in the top 10 nursing schools in a lot of articles!

The A&P portion is no longer needed at TAMUC as of this year

Oh wow I just noticed on the website! I wonder why it's no longer required though...

They no longer require A&P because she said that few questions couldn't tell them whether or not you knew the materia .

Hi! i have a questions like first. Is it bad if i'm a college dropout from UTSA and i decided to go back to school a semester later? Also i just finished my first semester at alamo colleges and i was wondering if i can get any tips or advice. Finally is it bad if i got a C in English 1 and History 1.

Hi, I'm a Fall 2016 hopeful for the BSN program at Texas A&M Commerce. I was wondering what you meant by how the people accepted last year didn't have good hesi scores or GPAs?@IVXLDCM
