If so Im feelings as if im not competitive and iam worried.

3.4 Overall GPA

84 A&P

90 Math

76 overall on English

Hey just read this thread and was wondering how do you like it at commerce nursing school?

I'm applying for fall 2016 and I just want to for when y'all applied did y'all take vocabulary, learning styles, and personally section of the HESI? Did commerce change their admission criteria?

I already took the HESI and made 86% overall

math 91%

reading 88%

grammar 82%

a&p 84%

I just recently applied to Texas A&M's nursing school as an external transfer who attended a branch of UT my freshmen year and then a community college my sophomore year. I satisfied all 60 credit hours worth of prerequisite courses with a 4.00 GPA and I got a 90 on my HESI. I am a member of 3 honor societies and I have had CNA experience as well. Despite all of this, I found out I have been put on the waitlist for the nursing school...

I applied for the fall. When you fill out your application they let you choose whether you want to attend fall or summer or both. I choose fall because I really needed time to find housing, I think that's maybe what cause me not to get accepted. They encourage you to choose no preference. Im assuming they just accepted an extremely small amount of transfers. It's so much easier to get in if you are already at A&M. With that being said I know another transfer student who got in with a 4.00 GPA and a 85 on her HESI so it's all about timing I guess.
